How to Use the Magnawand ID1200: To start your search turn sensitivity control up approximately 1/2. Hold the tip close to the ground and move forward swinging detector left and right. To pinpoint a target hold the detector vertically over the target object.

Settings : The ID 2100 Magnetic Locator and Identifier offers 2 settings:

Setting 1: Detector performs like a basic magnetic locator. All signals from ferrous metal objects including horizontal will be indicated with audio tone and red LED. No green LED will show in setting 1.

Setting 2: Patented (TID) Target Identification system. Using the TID function will determine if a target object is vertical, horizontal, or junk metal, saving time wasted digging unnecessary holes.
